What we make

Coco peat, grow bags and husk chips come buffered, low EC (washed) or high EC.

From husk to container

Every step happens in our own facilities, with lab checks along the way.

  1. Husk from the coconut belt

    We source coconut husk from farms around Pollachi, one of India’s largest coconut-growing regions.

  2. Defibering

    2Defibering

    Husks are crushed and the fibre is extracted in our automated unit. The pith left behind becomes coco peat.

  3. Sieving

    3Sieving

    Coco peat is sieved to remove loose fibre and dust, for a consistent particle size.

  4. Washing and buffering

    4Washing and buffering

    Peat is washed to lower EC, then buffered with calcium nitrate solution to replace sodium and potassium.

  5. Sun-drying on concrete

    5Sun-drying on concrete

    Drying happens on our 70,000 sq ft concrete yard, kept free of soil and weeds.

  6. Pressing

    6Pressing

    Dried peat is pressed into 5 kg blocks, filled into grow bags or cut and graded as chips.

  7. Lab checks

    Our lab tests samples off the belt, from pressed blocks and from the drying yard.

  8. Palletising and shipping

    8Palletising and shipping

    Blocks are palletised, loaded into containers and shipped from Tuticorin, Cochin or Chennai.

Every lot is tested in our own lab before it is pressed and again before it ships.

  • EC, pH, sodium and potassium measured in-house
  • Samples taken off the belt, from pressed blocks and from the drying yard
  • Custom Na and K levels buffered to your target
  • Certificate of analysis with each shipment; third-party lab reports on request

Husk arrives from farms around the factory, peat dries on concrete instead of soil, and finished stock waits under cover, so we can load containers all year.
