We test what growers measure: EC, pH, sodium, potassium, moisture and expansion, on samples from every stage of production.
Our lab
Testing happens on site, during production and before dispatch, so problems are caught before peat is pressed. Results go onto the certificate of analysis that travels with each shipment.
Buffered and tested in our in-house lab to RHP-guideline parameters (EC, pH, Na, K). Custom Na and K levels on request.

Three sampling points
We sample during every shift at three stages, so each lot is checked more than once.
Off the production belt
Samples are taken as peat leaves the processing line.
From the pressed block
Blocks are tested after pressing to confirm expansion and moisture.
From the drying yard
Spot checks across the concrete yard before peat goes to the press.
What keeps it consistent
Selected raw material
Husk comes from Pollachi’s coconut belt, known for coco peat with low natural salinity.
Drying on concrete only
All drying happens on our 70,000 sq ft concrete yard, away from soil and weeds.
Everything in-house
Extraction, buffering, pressing and packing are done in our own factories. Nothing is outsourced.
Maintained machinery
Machines are serviced on a schedule and checked before each run.
Year-round stock
Our 1,000 m³ godown keeps finished stock ready, with coco peat and husk chips stored separately.
Documented results
Test results are recorded every shift and summarised on the certificate of analysis.
